Inre Kilsviken är en viktig rastplats och häckningsplats för många fåglar. Här finns en halvö där fåglarna varje år försöker häcka, men de misslyckas oftast då vattenståndet höjs under sommaren och dränker ön eller för att räven går ut och plundrar deras bon. Här ska vi ordna en bättre häckningsö åt dem för att öka deras chanser att lyckas. Inom området finns fågelskyddsområden där det är förbjudet att gå i land under delar av året.

Inre Kilsviken is an important resting and nesting site for many birds. In the project site there is a small peninsula where the birds try to breed every year, but they often fail. Either the water level rises during the summer and drowns the peninsula, or to the fox go out and plunder their nests. In the project we will create a breeding island to increase their chances of success. Part of the area is bird protection area where landing and/or entering is prohibited during part of the year.
